Who is Responsible?
In most circumstances, the owner, employer, or occupier of the premises is responsible for providing regular fire training as part of the implementation of fire safety measures. This person is known as the “responsible person” in the Order.

The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 states that Fire training can be delivered by qualified professionals, this could be external training providers, competent, designated fire wardens, or the “responsible person”.
