This two-day course introduces Site Supervisors to their legal responsibilities regarding health, safety, welfare and environmental issues.

Start- 8.30am (registration at 8.15am)
Finish – 5pm

(No lunch provided, please bring your own, tea & coffee available)

Who Should Attend?

This course is for first line managers – those who have or are about to acquire supervisory responsibilities.

Day 1
Health and safety Law Developing a Health & Safety Management System Occupational health
Fire Prevention and control RAMS packs
Hazardous substances Role of the supervisor

Day 2
Construction (design and Management) Regulations Working at height
Personal protective equipment Manual handling
Accidents and first aid
How to deliver a toolbox talks Examination

Certification and Assessment
The method of assessment will be by multiple-choice questions at the end of the course. Successful delegates will receive a CITB certificate valid for five years, renewed by attending a 1-day refresher course.

Please note, IHTC Ltd reserve the right to cancel the course if there are not enough Learners to attend, we will give Learners at least 48 hours notice, if this is the case you will have a full refund.
