Introduction
This one-day course is designed for those who have a specific responsibility at work, to provide first aid in a range of emergency first aid situations and is ideal for those who work or intend to work in a forestry, agricultural or remote environment, such as tree surgeons and farmers. It is also ideal for people who have a specific responsibility to provide basic first aid in voluntary and community activities. This qualification is valid for a period of 3 years. The Learner needs to retake the qualification before the certificate expiry date to remain qualified.

Course Programme
The learners will be equipped with the knowledge and practical skills needed to treat a range of injuries and diseases that could occur in these environments, such as Lyme disease and catastrophic bleeding as well as the skills and knowledge needed to deal with a range of emergency first aid situations, including: managing an unresponsive casualty, CPR, recovery position, choking, shock, wounds and minor injuries.
Certification and Assessment
The method of assessment will be by multiple-choice theory questions at the end of the course, as well as practical assessments during the course. Successful delegates will receive a Qualsafe Awards certificate.
