A Service Level Agreement (SLA) with IHTC provides you with peace of mind that all aspects of your business Health and Safety is maintained appropriately.
IHTC offer SLA services on a ‘Pay as you Go’ or Monthly subscription basis offering flexibility to suit your business needs. IHTC have three levels of SLA available, each offering different levels of support for advice, training, incident response, policy creation and audits. Find out more below:
Service Level Agreement (SLA) for Health and Safety Services in the following areas on a ‘Pay as you Go’ basis and charged per day as per IHTC Terms and Conditions:
1. Advice on Health and Safety of All Aspects Relating to Their Business
- Scope: Provide comprehensive advice on health and safety matters covering all operational aspects of the client’s business.
- Delivery:Consultations, risk assessments, and tailored recommendations to ensure compliance with relevant health and safety regulations.
2. Advice on Health and Safety of Employees
- Scope: Offer guidance on maintaining a safe working environment for all employees.
- Delivery: Employee safety training, ergonomic assessments, and health surveillance programs.
3. Advice Following Any Monitoring/Visits and Audits
- Scope: Provide expert advice based on findings from health and safety monitoring, site visits, and audits.
- Delivery: Detailed reports with actionable recommendations to address any identified issues.
4. Advice on Action to Be Taken Following Incidents/Accidents
- Scope: Offer immediate and effective advice on the necessary actions following any workplace incidents or accidents.
- Delivery: Incident investigation, root cause analysis, and guidance on corrective measures to prevent recurrence.
5. Creation of Policies, Procedures, Forms as Per Requests
- Scope: Develop customised health and safety policies, procedures, and forms tailored to the client’s specific needs.
- Delivery: Drafting, reviewing, and updating documentation to ensure it meets current legal and regulatory standards.
6. Training Provision at Agreed Rates
- Scope: Provide health and safety training sessions at rates agreed upon in the SLA.
- Delivery: On-site or online training programs covering various health and safety topics, delivered by qualified trainers.
7. Assistance in Accident Reporting to Enforcing Authorities/Accident Investigation
- Scope: Assist in the reporting of accidents to relevant authorities and conduct thorough accident investigations.
- Delivery: Preparation of necessary documentation, liaison with enforcing authorities, and comprehensive investigation reports.
Service Level Agreement (SLA) for Health and Safety Services in the following areas on a monthly fee basis as per IHTC Terms and Conditions:
One SSiP Approval of your choice or Workplace Fire Risk Assessment for your primary location
- Scope: Assist in obtaining Safety Schemes in Procurement (SSiP) approval or conduct a comprehensive fire risk assessment at your primary location.
- Delivery: For SSiP approval, guidance and support will be provided throughout the application process. For Fire Risk Assessment, a certified fire safety professional will visit your site, identify potential fire hazards, evaluate existing fire safety measures, and provide a detailed report with recommendations.
Advice on Health and Safety of All Aspects Relating to Their Business
- Scope: Provide comprehensive advice on all health and safety matters relevant to your business operations.
- Delivery: Ongoing consultation via phone, email, or in-person meetings to address any health and safety concerns, ensuring compliance with regulations and best practices.
Advice on Health and Safety of Employees
- Scope: Offer guidance on maintaining a safe working environment for all employees.
- Delivery: Regular updates and consultations on employee safety, including workplace ergonomics, and mental health support.
Advice Following Any Monitoring/Visits and Audits
- Scope: Provide expert advice based on findings from health and safety monitoring, site visits, and audits up to 3 visits a year.
- Delivery: Conduct up to three site visits per year, followed by detailed reports and action plans to address any identified issues.
Access to telephone and email assistance during normal working hours, unlimited number of occasions
- Scope: Unlimited telephone or email support for health and safety inquiries during business hours.
- Delivery: Telephone and email access to health and safety experts during business hours for advice and support on any related matters (as per response times specified in IHTC’s Terms and Conditions).
A comprehensive Health and Safety Management System – complete with policies, procedures, forms, checklists, etc to ensure compliance with legislation*
- Scope: Develop and implement a robust health and safety management system tailored to your business.
- Delivery: Provide a complete set of documents, including policies, procedures, forms, and checklists, to help you maintain compliance with health and safety legislation.
Assistance with creating a Risk Assessment (RA) Register, c/w RA Pack
- Scope: Help you establish and maintain a risk assessment register.
- Delivery: Provide templates and guidance for conducting risk assessments, along with a comprehensive RA Pack to document and manage identified risks.
Development of your company Health and Safety Policy
- Scope: Create a customised health and safety policy for your organisation.
- Delivery: Collaborate with your team to draft, review, and finalise a policy that reflects your company’s commitment to health and safety.
Development of a company Health and Safety employee handbook
- Scope: Produce an employee handbook outlining health and safety procedures and expectations.
- Delivery: Develop a handbook that communicates your health and safety policies for you to distribute to all employees.
Assistance with creating a CoSHH Assessment Register, c/w CoSHH Pack
- Scope: Support the creation of a Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (CoSHH) assessment register.
- Delivery: Provide CoSHH assessment templates and a comprehensive CoSHH Pack to manage hazardous substances safely.
Advice on Action to Be Taken Following Incidents/Accidents
- Scope: Offer timely and effective advice on the necessary actions following any workplace incidents or accidents.
- Delivery: Incident investigation, root cause analysis, and guidance on corrective measures to prevent recurrence.
Staff training from our suite of training, inc eLearning credits at a discounted rate of 10%
- Scope: Deliver fire, health and safety training to your employees.
- Delivery: Provide guidance on the appropriate training requirements and pathways for your business from our suite of training options, including eLearning courses at a 10% discount, to enhance your team’s knowledge and skills.
Assistance in Accident Reporting to Enforcing Authorities/Accident Investigation
- Scope: Assist in the reporting of accidents to relevant authorities and conduct thorough accident investigations.
- Delivery: Preparation of necessary documentation, liaison with enforcing authorities, and comprehensive investigation reports.
Liaising with Enforcing Authority on your behalf
- Scope: Act as an intermediary between your company and health and safety enforcement authorities.
- Delivery: Communicate with authorities on your behalf to address any compliance issues or inquiries.
Updates on any changes in Health and Safety legislation
- Scope: Keep you informed about changes in health and safety laws and regulations.
- Delivery: Regular updates and briefings on legislative changes to ensure your business remains compliant.
General Terms
- Response Time: Commitment to respond to client inquiries within a specified timeframe as defined in IHTC’s Terms and Conditions.
- Confidentiality: Assurance that all client information will be handled with the utmost confidentiality.
- Performance Metrics: Regular review meetings to assess the performance of the services provided and ensure continuous improvement.
*We also offer secure access your own Health & Safety Management System (HSMS) Folder created by us where you have access to a set of folders which includes Policies, Risk Assessments library, CoSHH Assessment library, Accident Reporting Procedures, etc for a nominal monthly fee.

Workplace Fire Risk Assessment for your primary location
- Scope: Conduct a comprehensive fire risk assessment at your primary location.
- Delivery: A certified fire safety professional will visit your site, identify potential fire hazards, evaluate existing fire safety measures, and provide a detailed report with recommendations.
Assistance in approval of SSIP multiple applications (max of 3).
